This bike is amazing! There are the usual issues others report such as soft tires and terrible breaks. I think there should be an upgrade option for better breaks or a cheaper option to send the bike without breaks so that the buyer can upgrade them. They still function. Purchase was smooth, took about 2 weeks to receive the bike. Setup was easy. Only reason for 5 star is the fastness, Outside of the breaks, this bike was worth every penny!

Bike is so much fun. No need for cutting any wires. You can program sport mode for normal or fast and different regen modes. You can keep it stock or trick it out for full blown beast!

The bike is great it runs great and is supper fun and exciting. Hits jumps like nothing and pops wheelies like nothing , if you are reading reviews to see if you should get it do it it is so worth it. The reason I give it a 3 star is not about how the bike itself works it is about the condition it may come in, for example when we got my bike every thing worked fine but there was a crack in my speedometer and scratches by the side of the peg. Also parts for the bike can quickly add up. Hopefully this review makes your decision.

Great bike, great company, and great support! So back in January my Grandson put a bug in my ear for his upcoming 15th Birthday on March 10th – a Sur Ron Black Edition. He provided a me web link and never even mentioned it again, although he did anxiously ask my wife a few times if Papa was getting him the bike. I received it, rode it inside the shop, and wanted to give it to him that very day, but I decided to hide it and make it a Birthday surprise. Wow, he really hasn’t had much bike experience, but he jumped on the Sur Ron and looked like a duck in water. You can just tell when a rider is comfortable enough with his bike that he almost becomes “one” with the machine! The Sur Ron definitely fits the bill in every way, and the folks at surron ebikes shop have been awesome to deal with!
OMG! What a terrific product! I’m a 67 yr old, disabled Iraq war vet who purchased the Sur Ron X bike on the recommendation of my son who purchased one himself two years ago. I thought it would be a ‘fun gimmick’ to connect and bond even closer with my son. How wrong I was! This is FOR ME too!! Although I won’t be using it in an aggressive, super-sport, racing fashion as my son does, I find it incredibly relaxing and very enjoyable as I ride (with my camo from Kung Fu Graphics) gently through the woods, seeking wildlife and the calm of nature. I have absoluetly no regrets! This is truly amazing!!

These guys were super helpful. Answered 2-3 email with questions I had about the Sur Ron. I followed their advice and got the Sur Ron delivered in short order. I love it. Everyone who takes it for a spin can’t believe how fun and cool it is. Great product and great service, at least through the sales cycle.
Luna shipped quickly and delivery was well arranged and painless. No complaints aside from lack of technical documentation that came with the bike….but internet research (and even a video or two of Luna’s) has mostly filled those holes (which are more on Surron’s shoulders IMO in any case). Hopefully they can fill in on any future holes I might run across. I have a pic as I completed assembling and installing (different pegs and fender, removing decals) but don’t see how to post it.
I literally love my SurRon! Makes me wish I would’ve bought this first…
The packaging was very well done and assembly took me 1.5 – 2 hours. I am impressed with the quality. This is perfect for my intended use, that is to jump on and ride around my large yard and pasture. The pasture is a bit wet yet so haven’t had it out there but really fun to rip around my acre and a half yard. I’m a smaller guy at 5’8′ and it fits me very well except for standing I am a bit hunched over and will probably add bar risers to help that. One thing to point out is that my bike came with a basic orange graphics which are fine to me. I would of liked to know that because I thought the black edition had no graphics and I had already ordered a set. So I know have a set of graphics I really didn’t need. Great bike, I do recommend.
Very fast shipping ( was at my house in less than 10 days from time of purchase ). Bike was received with no damage and was easy to put together. The Sur Ron is very fun – I would recommend purchasing the surron ebikes shop riser bars and seat. The seat that comes stock is very stiff and the stock bars were too short for me.
